Phill Niblock (°1933, Indiana) is an intermedia artist who utilizes sound, film, photography, video and computers. Since the mid-sixties he has been making music and intermedia performances which have been shown at numerous venues around the world. Using sustained tones from musical instruments, he creates thick, loud drones of sound, filled with microtones which generate other tones and audible artefacts in the performance space.
For this occasion, Niblock will present the piece "Stosspeng (for two guitars)" with guitar players Thomas Smetryns and Guy De Bievre.
